Harbor LightBring every ship home by dawn.
You keep the light on a rocky coast. Ships are coming home in the dark. Sweep the beam across them and they see the rocks and find the safe channel. Leave them in the dark too long and they steer straight for home, reefs or not.

Every boat counts on your light.
There's one beam and many boats. Holding the light on one means leaving the others in the dark.
Sweep. Guide. Make dawn.
One finger aims the beam. The first night talks you through it.
Aim the beam
Tap or drag anywhere and the lamp swings there and holds. Let go and the clockwork keeps it turning, slowly.
Keep every ring full
Sweep back to the boats running low before they're lost. The foghorn guides every boat near the lighthouse for a moment, even ones you can't see.
Hold until dawn
Lose your life buoys to wrecks and the harbor master closes the port. Make it to dawn and the whole coast lights up.
Six nights, each harder than the last.

The sea doesn't make it easy.
Every night adds something. By the last one you're juggling all of it.
Easy to start. Hard to keep.
A beam you steer
Tap to swing the lamp and hold it, drag to sweep. The lens is heavy, so it takes a moment to turn.
The foghorn
One blast guides every boat near the lighthouse and shows them through the fog. Then it needs a few seconds before the next.
Flares
A few each night. Tap Flare, then the water, to light a patch of sea for a boat the beam can't reach in time.
The lifeboat
A wreck leaves its crew in the water, and an engine can fail out at sea. Hold the light on them until the lifeboat crew has found them, and it goes out to bring them in.
Smugglers
Some boats run with no lights at all. Catch one in the beam for a bounty.
Upgrade the lighthouse
Every night pays coins. Spend them on a wider lens, faster gearing, a bigger oil tank, a second foghorn, a faster lifeboat crew and more flares.
Life buoys and stars
Three buoys a night. Three stars for a night with no boat lost: a rescued crew counts back.
Dawn
Hold out until morning, or bring every boat in early, and the coast lights up around you.
Sound you can hear the weather in
Recorded surf, wind, rain and thunder that change with each night, the foghorn, the harbor bell and gulls at dawn.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. All six nights are free to play in your browser, with no ads.
Where can I play?
In any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer, right now. It's made for phones first: one finger aims the beam.
How do the ships decide where to go?
A ship in your beam can see the rocks, so it follows the safe channel home. Its ring shows how long that lasts. When the ring runs out the ship is lost: it steers straight for the harbor with the tide pushing it, whatever is in the way.
How hard is it?
The first night is gentle and talks you through it. After that come more boats, the whole fleet arriving at once, low oil, engines failing, sea fog, a strong tide and finally a gale with rain and lightning. Lighthouse upgrades make the hardest nights easier.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-in. Your stars, best scores, coins and upgrades are saved on your own device.
Does it collect any data?
Only anonymous counts of how the game is played (which nights, how they went), sent to our own database and never linked to you. You can switch them off on the title screen. The privacy policy has the details.
